With almost a decade of interactive design under my belt, I've come to realize these black mirrors we all have in our pockets are wildly powerful tools—and if comic books have taught me anything, it's that we have a responsibility to build a digital world that is as safe, thoughtful and inclusive as it is a joy to use.

When I'm not wearing my design/privacy wonk hat, I love riding bicycles, hiking amongst the trees with my two daughters, and learning to cook tasty vegan dishes.
